Byron Olson
Byron was born March 13, 1943 to Blanche and Oliver Olson. He was born and raised in Fertile, MN. He has one sister, Jeanette Renstrom. Byron attended Fertile-Beltrami School and went on to college at the University of Minnesota-Crookston.
Byron has lived in Fertile, Grand Forks, Reynolds, Red Lake Falls, Thief River Falls, and Minneapolis. His home church is Concordia Lutheran Church.
Byron joined the Navy in 1962 and was discharged in 1966. He started farming until 1987. He also worked at the Grand Forks hospital, Reynolds High School, and retired from Robinsdale school district.
Byron married Carol Olson September 30, 1967 and they were divorced in 1987. They had 2 sons Byron (Nikki) and Andy (Patty). He has 8 grandchildren: Jerra, Cameron, McKenna, Garret, Hunter, Ashtin, Daisy, and Lincoln.
